Caring housewives try to wash every centimeter of their home as best and cleaner as possible. Each, and rightly so, strives for the cleanliness of the house and the comfort of the household. But by what means is all this achieved?
What is the danger of household chemicals?
Often today, women choose actively advertised chemicals, the composition of which the manufacturers tell in an inconspicuous font on the back. Agree, not everyone is ready to spend time standing at the counter and looking for information about the composition and dangers of a particular product. So we buy, as a rule, what is more popular, cheaper or in more attractive packaging.
But what can be hidden behind a glossy label in a bright container? In the composition of most cleaning chemicals, you can easily find such dangerous components:
aggressive surfactants;
phosphates;
parabens ;
synthetic fragrances;
optical brighteners, etc.
Why is that bad?
All these ingredients interact with our skin and can cause irritation on the skin (especially children's) and mucous membranes.
They do not disappear, but end up in wastewater, thereby polluting the environment.
Aggressive chemical ingredients are not completely washed off clothes and dishes and can cause cumulative allergies.
Allergic reactions are not only for experienced allergy sufferers. Each person, even at the most inopportune moment, can manifest such a state. So, optical brighteners in powders are not rinsed out and settle in the tissues, which means that they are in direct contact with the human body. The same optical brighteners wear out the fabric strongly and rather quickly. It is they who become the cause of the appearance of pellets and damaged fibers on clothes.
In severe situations, the use of strong chemicals can even lead to the development of bronchial asthma and digestive problems. Are you really willing to sacrifice your health for a clean house? By the way, even if you do not strive for perfection in cleaning, you should understand that many of these products can harm even during storage. They release harmful particles and substances into the air. Such vapors remain for a long time in it and in the surrounding objects, as well as on the skin of people.
And of course, it is worth remembering about the harm that heavy chemical compounds cause to the environment. Eco products are called “eco” because they are biodegradable and do not harm the environment.
What to replace? We are looking for an alternative!
If you want to live clean, but at the same time not harm yourself, your loved ones, or the environment, then pay attention to natural home remedies.
