Natural cosmetics have long captured the beauty market, and every girl on the shelf in the bathroom at least once had a cream or shampoo with a “clean” composition. But have you heard of organic deodorants? What about underarm crystals?
Let's figure out which products will help you get rid of the smell of sweat without harm to health, and which ingredients in the composition are best avoided.

Conventional antiperspirants are great at reducing sweat. But at what cost? The active substance in most products is aluminum chlorohydrate (synthetic antiseptic), usually it makes up to 20% of the volume of the bottle. Upon contact with sweat, the pH (acid-base balance) of the composition increases, which leads to hardening of aluminum salts and blockage of the sweat glands, which regulate our body temperature and can even attract the opposite sex to each other by releasing pheromones.

In addition to aluminum salts, ingredients such as:
• triclosan is a preservative that irritates the eyes, skin and lungs, and can also cause endocrine disruption;
• amines. TEA and DEA (triethanolamine and diethanolamine) - toxic to the skin, respiratory organs, immune system, potential carcinogens;
• propylene glycol - a moisturizer that causes an allergic reaction on the skin, contact dermatitis, damage to the kidneys and liver;
• parabens - preservatives that adversely affect the skin, are toxic and can cause allergies;
• silicones (dimethicone) - moisturizers that block the pores of the sweat glands.

Which deodorants are safe?
There are 2 types of natural remedies that will do their job no worse than chemical ones. For example, eco-sprays or sticks with essential oils. Human sweat is odorless and is caused by bacteria that thrive in the humid environment of the armpits. Sharme Bio-Deodorants do not block perspiration, and the smell is neutralized due to the antibacterial effect of essential oils, soda and other organic ingredients.
